A Grant That Gives Forever


Established in 2025, the Pegasus Overseas Exchange Grant is available to full-time undergraduates from the Singapore Management University. 


It seeks to enable financially challenged students to embark on an overseas exchange programme with one of the University's partner universities in Asia, allowing them to have a more well-rounded worldview. 


The Grant will empower one student per year, in perpetuity.


Eligibility Criteria:

  • Full-time undergraduates from any degree programme at SMU
  • Any nationality
  • Participating in international student exchange programmes with SMU partner universities in Asia
  • Must have demonstrated evidence of family household income where the gross monthly per capita income is in accordance with prevailing guidelines to qualify for government bursaries

Benefits: 

  • Tenable for the recipient’s one semester of study abroad with an SMU partner university in Asia
  • Valued at $2,666* to fund exchange-related expenses


*Based on $50,000 raised for the grant.

The fundraising campaign has now closed. Thanks to all donors, we've raised $56,250, surpassing the $50,000 target. 

With this amount, the University will be able to disburse $3,000 to support the overseas exchange programme of one financially challenged SMU student each year, every year, in perpetuity.
